Where the class began

Teacher KIM JANG CHEOL shared his ongoing international collaborative class with a school in Japan at the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education's 수업식탁 (Class Table) talk concert on May 27, 2025, under the name 폭삭 흥했수다. It is a social studies class that connects two classrooms in real time, with students learning by asking each other about daily life and culture.

How the classrooms connected

A case published in the Korean Education Newspaper on June 5, 2025 applied concept-based inquiry learning and the metaverse to the international class. Rather than treating the online space itself as the goal, the record shows it was used as a tool for students to explore a shared topic and exchange ideas.
